Vince McMahon net worth 2022: WWE CEO retires amid scandal

World Wrestling Entertainment chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has ushered in a new era for the company with his exit.

The 76-year-old announced that his daughter, Stephanie, and current WWE president Nick Khan will take over as co-CEOs.

His exit comes amid reports that $12 million was given to 4 former WWE employees to stay silent on McMahon's alleged sexual misconduct.

McMahon bought WWE from his father in the 1980s. He went on to build WWE into a billion-dollar brand with a global reach.

WWE became a public company in 1999. Its top 2 TV shows, Raw and SmackDown, are among the top-rated shows on cable since the 1990s.

Some of WWE’s best storylines come from McMahon's  feuds with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena.

Vince McMahon has a net worth of $2.4 billion and WWE sees an annual revenue of $1.1 billion.

His foundation has gifted funds to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, Connecticut, and Breast Cancer Alliance.
