What happens to the Queen after the funeral?

Another part of the funeral takes place at Windsor Castle, about 25 miles from Westminster Abbey.

The site of the final resting place for Queen Elizabeth II is one she always thought of as home.

The queen will be interred in St George's Chapel, where her sister and her parents King George VI and Queen Elizabeth were buried.

Prince Philip's coffin is being moved from a vault in another area of the chapel to be next to the queen.

The 952-year-old castle was Queen Elizabeth II's "home away from home" dating back to when she was a teenager during World War II.
