Nintendo debuted the first trailer for its upcoming film 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie'.

The film is based on the video game character that is responsible for the success of the video game industry since 1985.

Mario the protagonist is voiced by Chris Pratt and Bowser the antagonist by Jack Black.

Bowser is seen attacking the nation of penguins, who famously appeared in the level Cool, Cool Mountain in 'Super Mario 64'.

The star-studded cast includes Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.

There’s also Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek.

The 'Super Mario Bros. Movie' is set to release in theaters on April 7, 2023.

The movie was produced on an estimated budget of $48 million for its high-profile cast and special effects.
