Neil Gaiman slams Elon Musk for The Rings of Power criticism

Fantasy author Neil Gaiman is not taking Elon Musk’s criticism of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' too well.

Gaiman said, “Elon Musk doesn’t come to me for advice on how to fail to buy Twitter, and I don’t go to him for film, TV or literature criticism.”

Musk slammed Amazon’s LOTR: The Rings Of Power, saying “Tolkien is turning over his grave”.

The comment comes amid Musk attempting to exit his proposed $44 billion takeover of Twitter and also an ongoing feud with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Regardless of Musk’s opinion, 'The Rings of Power' has been a hit on Amazon Prime Video.

The show got more than 25 million viewers in its first day and was marked the best performance for Amazon Original ever.

Musk has been in competition with Bezos for years and regularly trolls his businesses on social media.

The billionaires have swapped places as planet’s wealthiest person. Musk currently owns the title with a net worth of $260 billion in 2022.
