NBA new 2022 season begins: All you need to know about the games

The new season of the NBA will kickstart from October 19 at TD Garden.

The Boston Celtics  and the Philadelphia 76ers will inaugurate the event with the first match.

30 teams will participate in the upcoming season of NBA, which will be divided into two Conferences - Eastern and Western.

The long season will witness each team playing 82 games.

Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks will be frontrunners in the Eastern Conference.

Stephen Curry and LeBron James are the two players who will be highlighting the Western group.

After the group stage matches, the team placed in the top 6 from each conference at the end of the season will seal their place in the Playoffs.

8 teams will qualify for the playoffs where there will be 3 rounds - quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

The top 2 teams from the NBA Conference Playoffs will clash for the Larry O’Brien trophy in NBA Finals.

The NBA prize money for the 2021/22 season was $25 million, however for 2022-23 the prize money has not been revealed yet.
