Will LeBron James break the record for highest scorer?

LeBron James passed Karl Malone for second place on the NBA's career highest scoring points list.

He now has his sights set firmly on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's current all-time leading scorer.

Currently #2 on the list, James is only 1,325 points away from dethroning Kareem as the NBA’s all-time scoring leader.

He is projected to cross the 38,387-point mark sometime late in the 2022-2023 season.

James, however, prefers not to put too much pressure on it throughout the season.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said in an interview that if LeBron James breaks his record, it will be one last record he won’t have to worry about.

LeBron James is an American professional basketball player and entrepreneur with a net worth of $600 million in 2022.

He is the sixth-highest paid player in the NBA in terms of salary alone and his annual base salary is $41.1 million.
