House of the Dragon actor Olivia Cooke opens up about depression

'House of the Dragon' actress Olivia Cooke has opened up about her battle against depression.

The British actress said she experienced a "full mental breakdown" at age 22.

She struggled with loneliness while filming the Hitchcock-inspired drama 'Bates Motel in Canada'.

"I’m so grateful for that job, but I had a really tough time on it," said the 28-year-old actress.

The 'Sound of Metal' star ensured to keep her spirit up and continued working while focusing on her mental well-being.

In 'House of the Dragon', Cooke plays Alicent Hightower, the daughter of King Viserys I Targaryen's righthand man.

Cooke landed the role in October 2020, after a highly secretive audition process over Zoom.

Olivia Cooke's net worth in 2022 is estimated to be $2 million.
