Fourth of July: How to watch New York’s fireworks

While a number of cities are canceling Fourth of July fireworks this year because of staff and supply shortage, New York City will still celebrate the fiery show.

Starting at 8 pm, the 46th annual Macy’s Fourth of July celebration will feature a lineup of performers before the fireworks around 9.25 pm.

There will be official viewing locations along both sides of the East River in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.

Where can you watch the fireworks in person?

The entire event will be televised live on NBC and on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock.

How can you watch at home?

The lineup of performers include rapper Pitbull and singers Carly Pearce and Brett Eldredge.

Who is performing?

The US Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City will also perform.

The Coney Island Fourth of July Fireworks is a free event on the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn from 9.30 to 10.30 pm.

Where else can I see fireworks?

The Seaport Beach Feast in Lower Manhattan is free and will feature food trucks and music till 8 pm on Monday.
