Erin Jackson makes history at Beijing Olympics

US speed skater Erin Jackson won the women's 500m gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics in a time of 37.04.

The 29-year-old is the first US woman to win a speed skating gold at the Olympics since Bonnie Blair in 1994.

She is also the first Black woman to win an individual medal in speed skating at the Olympics.

Erin Jackson is one of the richest inline Speed Skater with a net worth of $1.5 Million.

She wants to be an example for Black girls in sports without much diversity.

When the champ is not skating, she is educating herself and she has multiple degrees to her name.
