Elon Musk says Twitter will not take 'yes' for an answer

Billionaire Elon Musk aims to complete his purchase of Twitter by the end of the month.

In a court filing, he said that Twitter had raised concerns about the possibility of a future failure to obtain debt financing to pay for the deal.

Musk's legal team is also arguing that continuing the trial risks the deal.

Musk's legal team has requested the court to change the date from October 17 to October 28 for necessary funding to be allocated.

However, Twitter seems to lack trust and hence will not take yes for an answer.

Twitter sued Musk after he tried to back out of buying the firm in July.

It seems that Musk may also run into funding problems as he requires $13 billion in debt financing to cover the costs of the purchase.

Elon Musk has filed a motion to stay his trial with Twitter amid negotiations to finalize his deal to buy the platform.
