3 weeks from Election Day 2022, pre-election voting matches 2018 numbers

With three weeks left for Election Day, nearly 2.5 million Americans have cast their ballots in the midterm polls.

Results predict a similarity between the pre-election voting data for 2018 and 2022.

That was reportedly the highest turnout for a midterm election in decades.

Over 370,000 ballots were cast in Michigan. It was 237,000 in Pennsylvania and nearly 160,000 in Wisconsin.

There was a 75.3% increase over 2018’s day-2 midterm early voting number, and 3.3% rise over 2020 early voting numbers.

In Pennsylvania, 91% of returned ballots are from White voters - up from 79% at the current point of the cycle in 2020.

Over the next 3 weeks, more votes are expected to be cast.

This will allow better clarity with a review of the advanced voting electorate.
