Dallas Cowboys roll over New York Giants in epic 23-16 win

The Cowboys walked into MetLife Stadium and handed their NFC East rival their first loss of the season by a 23-16 victory.

The New York Giants are undefeated no more.

This game was a slow burn and both teams could manage only a total of three field goals heading into halftime.

However, a combined 30 points in the second half resulted in Dallas pulling away a 17-0 run.

Cooper Rush continued to keep Dallas in the win when he dropped back 31 times and completed 21 of his passes for 215 yards and a touchdown.

Jones was 20-of-37 passing for 196 yards and one pick while he also rushed nine times for 79 yards.

It wasn't a perfect night for Dallas, as it had eight penalties for 70 yards that didn't prove fatal.

The Giants were gashed on the ground as Elliott and Pollard combined for 178 yards on 28 carries.
