Cobra Kai on Netflix: Season 5 scores 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

Cobra Kai is back with a bang, throwing down Season 5 with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and viewers.

All 10 episodes of Season 5 dropped on Netflix on September 9 and the show has already raked in top reviews.

The season picks off with Cobra Kai Karate co-founder John Kreese in jail for a crime he didn't commit.

Mr Miyagi's pupil Daniel LaRusso and Cobra Kai's bad boy Johnny Lawrence are forced to close the doors to their dojos.

Every 10 to 20 minutes, emotionally charged high schoolers continue beating one another up. Who doesn’t love that?

The show started on YouTube, which produced three seasons before it stopped making original shows.

It was then picked up by Netflix in 2020. It went from underdog to top of the chain with Season 4 on December 31, 2021.

It brought over 120,000,000 million hours viewed in its first week, according to Netflix.

Each season brings back new heroes and villains from the Karate Kid trilogy, which first hit theaters in 1984.
