CDC ends Covid quarantine guidance: Virus poses lesser risk now

The CDC has eased Covid guidance and said that the US has the tools to fight the virus.

They no longer recommend testing in schools for those who don’t have symptoms.

They also said the virus now poses a significantly lower risk due to high levels of immunity.

People who aren’t vaccinated don't need to quarantine if they have been exposed to Covid.

Instead, they now recommend that these individuals wear a mask for 10 days and get tested on day 5.

However, it still is crucial for everyone to remain up-to-date on their vaccines.

The US is currently reporting over 107,000 new Covid cases a day on average.

So far, 262 million Americans have received at least 1 dose of a vaccine: 78.0% of the population.
