Californians to receive inflation relief stimulus checks up to $1050

Governor Gavin Newsom signed a $308 billion state budget to provide direct tax refunds for Californians.

Checks will be sent based on the annual income of each tax filer.

Single tax filers will receive $350 if they earn less than $75,000 per year, $250 for $75,001-$125,000 and $200 for $125,001- $250,000.

Joint tax filers will receive $700 if they earn less than $150,000 per year, $500 for $150,001-$250,000 and $400 for $250,001-$500,000.

If single or joint filers have one dependent, they will receive $350, $250 or $200 additionally based on their tier.

Checks will be sent by direct deposit or straight to debit cards by late October.
