BTS member RM donates 100 million won to Korean cultural heritage foundation

BTS's RM donated 100 million won ($71,800) to the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation for the 2nd consecutive year.

Last year in September, RM donated the same amount to the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation.

The donations were used for the conservation work of traditional Korean clothing.

This year's donation will be used to create a catalog introducing Korean paintings.

In 2020, RM was recognized as a Patron of the Art after he loaded a piece of his sculpture collection 'Horse' to the Seoul Museum of Art.

He also donated 100 million won to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

As an avid art lover, RM has posted photos of him visiting art museums and galleries across the country on his social media.

RM's net worth is estimated to be around $22 million, making him one of the richest BTS members.
