Bidens pay respects to the Queen as world leaders gather in London

World leaders descended on London ahead of the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II to pay their respects.

The line to pay respects to the late Queen went on for 5 miles.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden visited the Queen as she lay in state.

Biden had twice declined to bow to  the monarch on the advice of his mother, but he had admired her.

It is reported that Biden describes the Queen as "decent, honorable and all about service".

They traveled to Buckingham Palace to attend an official reception hosted by King Charles III on the eve of the state funeral.

Princes William, Harry and the Queen’s six other grandchildren held a vigil around her coffin in Westminster Hall.
