Angelina Jolie countersues Brad Pitt for $250 million over French winery

The legal drama between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has reached new heights.

Angelina Jolie’s company, Nouvel, filed a $250 million lawsuit against ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Jolie alleges that Pitt seized control of their French winery as retaliation over their divorce.

Chateau Miraval is the 1,300-acre country estate that the former couple purchased in 2008.

Pitt was reported to have appointed himself the rightful owner of Chateau Miraval and obtained sole ownership of the winery.

The lawsuit alleges that Pitt operated the winery without conferring with Jolie even after she asked for more information and control.

The lawsuit states that Pitt wasted the Chateau's assets by spending millions on vanity projects.
