Aaron Judge, Paul Goldschmidt race to baseball's Triple Crown

New York Yankees’ outfielder Aaron Judge and St Louis Cardinals’ Paul Goldschmidt are in a serious bid for the Triple Crown.

In baseball, a player who leads their respective league in batting average, home runs and RBIs, wins a triple crown.

Judge has led the Yankees to their second-best record in the American League.

He has 57 home runs and 123 RBIs with a batting average of .310, which is good for fourth in the American League.

On the other side, St Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is looking to become the first National League Triple Crown winner

He is currently top 5 in each of the Triple Crown categories with a batting average of .322, 35 home runs and 109 RBIs.

Both All-Stars are facing an uphill battle to join the likes of Cabrera and the other Triple Crown winners.
