Aaron Judge gives 61st home run ball to his mother

New York Yankees star Aaron Judge hit his 61st home run of the season against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Having slugged Roger Maris' 61-year-old American League record for home runs in a season, Judge presented the treasured ball to his mother.

Judge said that his mother Patty has always been with him from the Little League days to his first professional game.

Patty was seated alongside Roger Maris Jr, watching her son slug a home run.

She cheered as Judge rounded the bases and she seemed to grow visibly emotional as reality set in.

It doesn't stop there for Judge. He is also chasing a Triple Crown.

Aaron Judge is an American professional baseball player with a net worth of $10 million in 2022.

He signed a $1.8 million bonus with the Yankees in 2013.
